The story starts from the 14th century. The problem starts between the Devotees who pray Lord Narayanan and Lord Shiva. The King orders KamalaHasan, who is a Brahmin, to pray Lord Shiva. He refuses to do so. So they tie-up KamalaHasan’s Hands and Legs and throws him in the sea. The problem which starts at that time continues in each and every succeeding Births of KamalaHasan.
The whole story is about the people who fight in the name Lord Shiva and Lord Narayana. This changes according to the time, but they fight between them by being on the opposite sides. The most important thing of all is-In all the Births taken by KamalaHasan, a Ranganathar Statue also comes with him. Even in this devotional film, they have handled a special idea.
