Prime Minister Manmohan SinghLeft move not to hit government stability: PM

Sapporo (Japan), July 8 Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Tuesday declared that the withdrawal of support by the Left parties would not affect his government's stability.

Speaking on the sidelines of the G8 summit, Manmohan Singh told the media: "Left pulling out will not affect the stability of the government."

His comments came after the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) and three other Left parties announced that they were withdrawing their legislative support to the Congress-led government.
